NOW Something sweet.....

From my Secret Sister at church  Inclosed was a very sweet card, hoping for me to start feeling better.  The Lord knows when we need a little lift!

Last nite we had a family meeting where Hannah Grace thought it needful to take her own notes...list for the coming week...

we decided maybe we'd better add extra spelling lessons to the list! LOL

It's Saturday nite, actually I see it is now Sun.morning  As my usual lately I can't get to sleep, and when I do, I can't stay asleep  and yes its making me very irritable !!! I usually tend to not blog when I'm feeling down, so I haven't much this week. It's been a tough week for me, I have not felt good alot of the time, haven't slept good, haven't got along with anyone in the family very well  I even broke down one day when I was feeling so ill, I hadn't done that since before my surgery!

Today was better...DH worked outside building his storage building, little girls played outside, and older girls painted furniture in thier rooms about all day. I still didn't feel good, so I didn;t get alot done, but I did rest some. DH and I decided to go out for date nite, so we went to the local seafood shack and got our fill of crab legs, shrimp, scallops, and a couple of sides! That made me feel better of course, and that we got to have some quality time together .

I'm starting to have very wierd pregancy dreams  I won;t say what last nite;s was...Maybe some of you have had some too!!!  I go back to the Dr. this coming week, now we are to every two weeks instead of once a month. I plan to tell her how I keep feeling like my heart is racing and I;m winded . It will feel like I've just climbed a flight of stairs for no apparent reason!  Any of you ever experienced that in pregnancy? I do have alot to do before baby girl comes, but I'm so ready for her to get here! Maybe with all the spring events keeping us busy, it will seem to go fast now!

A couple of things I'd like to accomplish this week.... upload more pics to /walgreens, get my sewing machine out and sew, get out the storage containers of the little girls spring clothes and see what fits, get started on HG's lapbook, get Rach's bed stained, get the crib painted,,, wow that sounds like alot, it would be if I didn't have some good help, thankfully I do!   Oh yeah and Grocery shop for the next few weeks meals.

Thats about it, maybe I can get some sleep now, I hope!   I could, if this active little baby girl will settle down! She's about to kick my insides out!          ~Jill~

My hair appt. got postponed today, so I got a new stylist for the day....DD Leah did this!!!

I don't think my hair has ever been this straight! It still has alot of different layers and is in bad need of a trim which is what I was going to do today...

It's a little wierd to me and Leah who was saying "MOM your hair looks too much like mine!" So i don't know, might have to have some flip to the ends!  By the way, no makeup here, I haven't felt good today off and on, so its the all natural here

Here's some baby clothes my niece sent to me, I have another tote full that people gave when I was in Ind. and also what a lady from church gave me. I haven't sorted them all yet by size, so don't know what all newborns I have yet to get started with yet. I plan to do that soon!       ~Jill~

Crisis Pregnancy Banquet

Last night we went to a Crisis Pregnancy Banquet. I'd never been to one before, it was very eye-opening to say the least. I mean we "know" of abortion and we know of single moms, but when you look at the numbers of it in your own community...well we have lots of work to do, lots more prayers to pray.

It is a ministry I'd like to get involved in more in the future.  Right now, it is a ministry that our women's ministry at church supports. They showed about a 50 second no sound vidio at the end of his talk, which he said "if you don't wish to see, then look away" I thought maybe I should, with being pregnant, but yet I wanted to see, so I did, it was heartbreaking. It was showing the babies aborted at what week #, the last one being close to the week # I am, thats when it hit me. I think of that line in that song "Break my heart for what breaks yours" so we need to see, we need to know, we need to have our hearts broken for what breaks God's heart.

He also talked to the people there that he knew it was extrremely hard for them to sit there thru his talk, because of thier past. He offered them the Gospel. It was Awesome! Give God all our stuff, and he gives us Forgiveness! What a deal, who would pass that up?

Blessed is the man to whom the Lord counts no iniquity and in whose spirit there is no deceit.  ~Psalm 32:2~

Yesterday my cousin Marty went home to be the Lord. Only around 10 years older than me, he has had an illness for quite some time, but the worst of it this time starting in Nov. He was in the Hospital from then to after Christmas, and eventually sent home with Hospice. I am so thankful I got to see him one last time, when we were in Indiana over the Holiday. Just recooperating from my surgery, it was a push for me to go, but so glad I did, and thankful for DH who took me. Wish I could be there for the family in these next few days, but probably not possible. Would you please help me pray for his family, which consisted of Wife and two grown children and two or three grandchildren, His Mom and Sister and Niece. 

We have been loving this beautiful weather the last few days! Today will be a bit cloudy but still around 70 degrees!  I have some errands to run in town this morn, so I'm thinking we will have afternoon school instead so the girls can all go with me.

Yesterday afternoon DD#1 and I went to look for an outfit for her for the Ladies Tea, MISSION "almost" IMPOSSIBLE!  But the bible says all things are possible! We did find the first part of the outfit (maybe) at Bealls, it was a white denim jacket, depends on what we put it with how dressy we make it. Everytime we found something that fit, she didn't like it! Of course she's not going to like everything her mother picks, she's past that age and she knows what SHE likes, it's just hard to find! So we will shop again!!!

Oh yeah, never dreamed of finding myself in this place, but here I am 6 1/2 months prego, with girl #5 while riding along in the car with Girl #1 who has her drivers permit, and is headed for 16 yrs old in about 2 months! WOW! Its funny how you think about things such as your child learning to drive, and you think how can I ever deal with that? Then when you get to that place, you somehow (GOD gives it) have the GRACE to deal with it! It becomes like every other milestone in thier lives. WELL....maybe!  Anyway she drove us part of way to town yesterday and did a good job, except when she decided to look at something out the side of her window...we didn't go off the road (MUCH) LOL!

DH got alot done outside SAT, (along with the girls) and then again yesterday afternoon! Yard is looking good and my front porch is clean again!  Makes me Happy!!!!  I want to plant some flowers in boxes again on the porch, but I may a battle this time with the CATS, who have made them thier sleeping places!  WE"LL see who wins!

One last thing...I got some sleep last night!!!! I didn't even hear DH getting ready to leave this morning! So its good to wake up feeling refreshed. Thanks to those of you who prayed for me!

Plans for this evening....going to a Crisis Pregnancy banquet. It's something our women's minisrty supports, and bought a table for. DH thought we would look like good support!LOL  Speaking of which...my belly is becoming so noticable that I see people look at it before they look at my face!

Just noticed these first blooms when I sat on the porch swing today!  They are from my Azalea bushes in front of the porch. How exciting! Also it's 75 degrees, the windows are open in the house for those who are doing school and folding laundry and can't go out just yet!   but we will here in a little bit!  It's too nice, not to!    ~JILL~

I was just "thinking"how good a nap sounded for me, when I was met with this Major clean up job!!!   She had been making MUD SOUP and I think she may have stirred to vigerously and sloshed it on her...never did get the full story!  She wasn't crying until I laughed and had to run to get the camera!

We all have days like this....don't we???!!!

 It's Saturday/ Work Day round here....

and the "boys" are all helping DAD!!!   Yal the girls are in thier work clothes, they are a little bothered by the fact that since we live in town, YOU can't really HIDE yourself on days like these! LOL

Yesterday we went to my DR.'s appt. and afterwards went to Lowes, where we tried out a swing about like this one....I FELL in Love! My Birthday is in two weeks...wonder if I could possiblly be able to "swing"this?! LOL!!! I'm just imagining days out in this in the yard with the baby while I watch HG and HD play, (they are always wanting me to come watch them). Anyway I won't THINK about the bugs bothering me or the brutal heat we experience in the summer here!!!

BUT don't you LOVE the smell of Lowes in the spring??? It has been spring days all week and yesterday was about 78, so walking thru there was so neat!!! Dreaming of all the spring and summer projects we want to tackle!  Somehow when you actually get home and get to work...it's not quite the same is it?? LOL. but so far today everyone is in good moods!

And MY job, well....I've had the inside pretty much to myself, so I've just been doing some straightening, and a little of Laundry, (BABY) clothes my niece sent me in the mail, AND the job of fixing Lunch! I fixed a "diner" type lunch today.....FRIED corn dogs, chicken fingers, cheese sticks, mac & cheese and Napoleon Dynamite potatos (TATER TOTS) LOL   Hey you gonna eat your tots? I freaken love tater tots! LOL  Excuse my silliness, I got very little sleep last night!!!!

So yesterday was my DR appt, and I had an ultrasound again, she is measuring just right, wieghs about 2/12 lbs. which they said was what she should wiegh right now. I think I may have gained 2 lbs, not sure, if I did, it would make me gaining 9 lbs overall. I am pleased with that since, I'm already over the weight I should be. I have to say I like pregancy other than being sick at first...I always have come thru it looking better in the end than where I started at! I know, thats not the norm!   We talked about my sleep problems, unfortunately, theres nothing I can do for it right now. I REALY believe I have "sleep apnea" and wanted to see if she would refer me to a specialist, but she said they don't usually test pregnant people. Soooo I may do my own research on that.   WE just found out that my DAD was dianosed with SEVERE sleep apnea. It was an answered prayer because we were all so worried about him. He was falling asleep at the wheel, and on the job and whenever he sat down for 30 seconds!  He just got his breathing machine thing, has used it just a few nights and get over how good he feels! I'm so happy for him, I told him I was envious! I want sleep so bad! I'm up about 10 times a nite. I only sleep for an hour or two if I'm lucky at a time! Maybe you all can please help me pray about this!!!

Plans for the rest of the weekend....maybe cooking out in our little fire pit this evening if DH finds enough wood (the little girls have been wanting to do that forever!)  Church tomorrow and my friend's babyshower tomorrow afternoon  I guess that's about it.  What are your weekend plans?
