It's Amazing....that powerful love that just sweeps over you.....
That little quote taken from the "Love comes Softly" movie after Marti gave birth to her first born son.
Having a baby is definitly emotional! the moment I looked at Faith when she was born, then over to my two older girls who were in the room, who had tears in thier eyes. Theres just nothing like it, but its that Powerful Love. I just wanted to love all my family right then , and let them know just how precious thier Lives are to me. Somehow I usually seem to not convey that message strong enough. May the Lord help me in the future to express my love and appriciation better.
So, I've had some baby blues lately, not feeling helpless or hopeless, just little crying spells that make me feel bad. I guess hormonal stuff. Its just everything has went so fast these last few weeks that its hard to take it all in, Its like its hard to swallow and digest all at one time. Does that make sense? One thing that has bothered me is my birth experience this time, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I had planned in my mind. Have any of you ever went thru something like that? Not sure why it bothers me so bad.
thinking about using this pic for my Birth announcements....
Yesterday was Faith's 2 week appt. She has not made it back to birth weight yet, so the Dr. wants me to pump after every feeding and then give it to her to get my supply up and for Faith to gain. She said its fairly normal, but still somewhat concerned because of the nursing problems we're having, which is that at times she will keep unlatching and getting mad. So...Please help me pray this goes better, I really WANT to do this!!! Feels like I've had my breasts out all day today between pumping and feeding! LOL!
GOOD NEWS..... DD#1 Leah, some of you on here are friends with her, well her biopsy came back normal, and blood tests were all good, except for a vitamin D def. which didn't surprise us since she doesn't like most dairy products. So she will stay on the same thyroid med. and take some vit D.
Bath time!
my parents came to visit a week after she was born
this is mamaw's first look at her, about 1:00 in the morning when they got here!
This is Faith and her first little friend
Thats about all that I've surprizing have had time to squeeze in this time, more about the rest of the family in the next post. Have a great weekend! ~Jill~

It's Thursday....
Outside my window...Sunny, beautiful, and getting humid again
In the Kitchen....a few dishes in the sink, a pan of almost gone brownies on the counter
, and thoughts about supper for tonite....
In the school/play room....its dark and cool, somewhat messy, mostly my school stuff that recently got moved, I havent put back together yet.
In the living room&dining room...two little girls finger painting in thier paint clothes, sheets on the couches where I've been making my bed part of the day and nights
a pile of bags by the door ready for when we go to the hospital, a stroller , carseat, and baby swing and bouncy seat.
In my bedroom...we cleaned yesterday, thanks to DD Rach and DH, just a few more area's to declutter and dust, crib set up, baby blankets underneath.
I am wearing...my florida marlins marternity tee, and pj pants (thats all that fits me without cutting me in two right now)
I am thinking...about going to the hardware store in a few minutes with DH to get the paint for the baby's clothes cabinet.
I an thankful .....we got an extra bedroom since last week (we actually just devided a our big school / play room in order to make another bedroom. It has worked out nice.
I am amazed ....how these little girls "decorated" thier paint shirts...even more than thier papers! Wow what creations!
I am glad...DD Leah got her biopsy today and thats overwith! DR. doesn't think its anything to worry over, we find out results in two weeks.
I am hoping...that I get to go to the hospital this weekend and have this baby Girl!!! (Dr appt tomorrow..cross your fingers and PRAY!
My most common word these days....uncomfortable!
(AND) hurting
Latest change in me....(besides my belly) I got highlights in my hair and more layers. its very subtle. mostly blends in the grays!
Something to share.....
Gifts from the baby shower a few weeks ago, put on by our women's minsitries and my older girls.
Have a great weekend!!!! ~Jill~

39 weeks pic and hopefully the last belly pic I post!
This was today, I feel so ready to go!!!!
Hope this doesn't affend anyone, I think Its all lady friends I have on here!
Please pray for me as I wait this out, one minute, one day I'm patient. and the next I'm not! I think it depends on the amount of discomfort and back pain that I'm in trying to carry this (predicted to be) 8 lb little baby girl!
Have a good week! ~Jill~

Had a Dr. appt. today with an ultrasound that guestimated baby's weight to be 8.8 lbs
No wonder I feel like I can't walk and am about to tip over frontwards! All my babys have been under 7" 7!!!! So I'm a little alarmed but the Dr. didn't seem to be.
They gave me a non stress test to check baby's movements and contractions and heartrate, that was all good.
Ultrasound pic showed the sweetest pics of her little feet and toes, and she had a covering of hair...Can you tell I'm getting all gushy ready to meet my baby girl???
Dr. checked my Cervix and it is still high and thick (which is normal for me)
, so she's not in a hurry to get out! They will induce at 39 weeks if cervix is thin enough they said, but I'm thinking, shoot if I make it that long, why not wait it out?! At least thats my rathers, but it depends on how miserable I get.
They did give me pain pills for my back and legs, and that helps my sleeping some, but I still usally have a cry spell about every nite from hurting so bad!
Prayers needed here!
Lots of stuff going on around our house, things like....painting, moving furniture around, making another bedroom, washing up baby clothes and blankets....and finishing school! The church gave me a really nice baby shower Sat. morning, lots of cute stuff, and some shopping money, which we've been using already. So far I've bought my stroller/carseat combo, and a highchair seat, a baby book, a nursing cover and a few other small things. Haven't bought or got alot of clothes yet, and I'm not taking tags off the ones we got so far, because who knows...those newborns just may be too small!
Well thats about it for now, sorry no new pics, haven't felt much like fooling with it lately.
this one from easter morning ~Jill~

Had a good Dr's appt yesterday! I'm now 36 1/2 weeks, going to the Dr every week now. Baby measured on time, Dr guessed size when delivered might be in the high 7's . Week after next I will get an ultra sound to try to detrermine the size. I hadn't met this Dr. yet and really liked him. Maybe its because someone finally took my back pain seriously! He gave a script for nites when I can't get comfortable for the back pain!
He also was planning our my next visits, and didn't think I'd make it past 3 more weeks! I'm not holding my breath though because he doesn't know my records of my stubborn cervix!
So 3 or 4 weeks, I have enough to do to barely get it done in that time!
After much begging from my girls, I took them to our friend's pool this week, and let me tell you, it was the BEST I had felt in weeks! Being weightless in the water was awesome, made me completely forget how heavy I am for a time! Dr. said yes go as much as I can, very good therepy!!!!
As for school, my youngest student is almost thru for her 2nd grade year! I have been so tempted to just go ahead and cut it off because our schedule is so out of wack, but I'm trying to hold on and finish, knowing it will make me feel better in the long run!
my jr high and high schooler is also winding down, but because of their volume of work and extra-curiicula stuff, they plan on working school some in the summer too. I'm proud of them, they've worked hard and helped keep this house running thru all my inability to do so with this pregnancy.
So guess what its not all whats in a book that we learn from!!!!
DH and DD#2 went with me to dr yesterday, we left early to do some shorts shopping for DD#2, and did our gift registry at Walmart (which DH and DD had just too much fun with!) They fought over who got to do the scanner! LOL!
So next week DD#1 and #3 will probably go along to do a little clothes shopping. I guess we have to take it one trip at a time a few girls at a time! It can be an overwhelming task!
Yesterday really tired me out being on my feet, who knows by next week, it may have to be Daddy taking them in the stores! We LOVE thrift stores but this time, we've had to buy new a few of the basics and then we'll continue the rest at thrift stores when we get the chance!
DH is finishing up the storage shed tonite, so we can begin to fill it LOL! No really its one of of those before the baby comes projects, we need to move some stuff out of the house for a while to make room for all the baby equipment, and get the saved storage totes of clothes more organized, and DH's stuff of course!
So thats about it for now, sit here as long as I can stand it! Have a great weekend! ~Jill~
