I'm still here and I wish my first post back could be a little more cheerful  but my dear Hannah Grace is getting here tonsils out very early tomorrow morning!

She's the little one here, her older sister Leah (pictured) here too was supposed to be getting hers out at the same time, and they were looking forward to sharing thier missery together but, Leah's bloodwork came back with a little issue concerning her thyroid, so she has to see another Dr. before getting the ok for sugery.

Hannah Grace still requested that Leah go and be with her tomorrow, so thats what we're doing  So please say a prayer for her for the next few days while she's recovering and for MOM as I'm there seeing my girl hurt!

Now a little update on Faith, this pic is a little old news because she will turn 6 months on Thanksgiving Day!  She is a good baby, easy to take care of , very content most of the time except.... LOL

Now my dear Rachie is doing good, she's being a good student, helps me aLOT with the baby and Laundry! I know 14 has not been an easy year for her, but I'm praying for wisdom as oft as I think of it, for the Lord to give me while raising my girls

And guess who had a Birthday......

yes she's just as mischievious as she looks! Full of energy!!!!

Thats about it for tonite, got to go get some rest before our early, morning (middle of the night) ha! ha! trip to the hospital!     Speaking of mornings...wouldn't be nice to look this cute when you first wake up??!!! Not fair!!!

What is your favorite room in your house? and WHY?   I thought it would be neat to hear and see your favorite and least favorite room either answer here in my comments or post a pic on your weblog!  As for me, the living room is my favorite because I love the colors and how comfy my couches are and my newest glider chair. I will post some pics here in little bit. 

My least favorite room is my bathroom, because it needs a new floor covering, trim work, paint, new lights, and it's extremely small!

First day of school!

It's a Saturday night at the Smith home !

In the kitchen....dirty dishes in the sink, and supper on the stove (all results of some yummy meals today)

In the living room....the whole family but me, eating thier coney dogs, and chips while watching "The Barbie Muskateers" YES the little girls were in there first, so they got dibs on the movie LOL!

I am wearing....PJ pants and a t-shirt, and wet hair that I need to do something with for church tomorrow!

What we did today... a very laid back day for the most part, I sorted thru some more homeschool stuff from last year, did a little laundry, took care of the baby, and then this evening we ALL went to our friends pool for a few hours! Very relaxing I might add!

What we are doing tomorrow....going to church, and hopefully resting alot in the afternoon! Can you tell I'm very tired today?! I guess all the swimming lessons wore me out!  I told DH I would never again take swimmin lessons and start our first week of school in the same week! He said "well you shouldn't need to!"

I am thinking....about my upcoming trip to see my family! I'm so excited for the cooler temps. and less bugs! I'm excited about having a change of pace for a few weeks, and getting to play with the little girls without all the pressured of running the home on my shoulders. Just a nice break. We are taking our school work along, and hopefully papaw can help out with that too! I'm planning on taking a major project along to work on.....my pictures! AND maybe some sewing.

I am praying....I'm praying for some friends requests here and there, and for some changes in our home, yes the building, but the people as well. Lot of things need to be fixed, and some things just aren't working out so well, like our master bedroom which has two doors, it has become a thru room, for one thing you have to go thru it to get to the main bathroom! That also makes it hard on baby to get her nap thru the day.

I am sharing....

A week from tomorrow will be DH and I's 18th anniversay!  Any ideas on what I could give for a gift?   We will be together that day, but i'll be getting ready for my trip, so not sure if we are going to get to go out or anything yet.

AND on that note, I am THANKFUL....for this man whom I've had the pleasure of spending the last 18 years with, who has stood by me thru the thick and thin, who's held me when I'm hurting, who's prayed for me daily, who's laughed with me, and who's been my BEST friend!!!

 All the way there yesterday evening, I kept saying in my mind "I can't believe I'm doing this! The swimming instructor called me yesterday evening after class had already started, asking me if I could still come. What a short notice, but the Lord worked it out for me to go!

No I didn't take the baby, this was earlier this summer   The rest of these pics are of my girls at thier swimming lessons, don't have any of me yet.

I know how to swim, my Dad taught me when I was about 10, but we never swam in deep water, so I have remained scared of it my whole life.

So thats why I REALY wanted to take the lessons to CONQUER my fear!

Its really cool how everyone cheers each other on!

So last nite they had me to just sort of fall forward into the deep end, but tonite, she taught us to dive.

I was really scared at first, but before the class ended, I had dived about 4 times and even got the rings from the bottom of the pool!

I thank the Lord for this opportunity, I know that he knew I needed it after all I've been going through these past few weeks.

So there are two more nites left, I hope to learn to not be scared at all and to tread water.

On another note.....School has started this week

I didn't get pics of the older girls yet. DD#1 is off to a great start! So proud of her, and DD#2 is out of the state visiting family.

Guess who turned 3 months old today......YOU guessed it!

This has been a good last couple a days ! Praise the Lord, I really needed a good couple of days! I had a Dr's appt on Wed. to get an ultrasound to check about a possible cyst. Thankfully it wasn't one, but I'm still having a funny pain that we don't know what it is. I almost didn't go there that day because I "knew" it wasn't a cyst, but I felt like I needed to talk to my Dr. again. As I sat there waiting on him to come in, I prayed for God to please give Him wisdom to be able to help me, and to help me be able to explain whats going on.

So he comes in , tells me the utrasound was clear, and did I have any questions, so thats when I ask, when is this med. I'm on (for postpardom depression) going to start working? He said it should at about 3 weeks which is where I was at with it, and I started to tear up.  THAT wasn't supposed to happen! Here I am a grown woman, mother of five! So he talked to me a little bit about my serotonin being LOW and that it wasn't my faught, and all that, He increased my med. and I'm supposed to go back this coming week for a re-check.  The good news is I AM thinking I'm feeling better. I kind of feel like an itiot that I broke down, but maybe thats what it took to have the Dr to see I really needed some help. I'm trying not to think about it too much! LOL I'm also supposed to get my thyroid checked again to see if my med dose is working.

One of the things he said I needed to do was "to do one thing a day that "I" wanted to do, such as take a walk by myself (which would also help my blood pressure). So I haven't took any walks yet, but I've baked cookies with the little girls, I've painted, and Now I'm blogging! This weekend was great, guess what I did, with the help of DD Leah (who just went to swim lessons) I jumped off in the deep end of the pool!!! A major accomplishment for me! A conquered fear of mine!

I added a pulse last nite asking for prayer, and I thank those of you who prayed   I am feeling better this morning. My day yesterday started out great, with insights from the Lord that I had needed for a long time, well I guess all that made Satan mad!  I just feel like lately that I'm drowning, every time my head goes up for a quick breath and then right back down, constantly struggling.  So I keep trying, and soon I will be swimming, right?

 This is my latest thift store find! When I first saw it, it appealed to me, but I thought no, I wouldn't probably have her wear it, and it didn't have bottoms to it, but the more I thought about it, I talked myself into going back to buy it!  I just added some new with the old by the little pants under it and the hair flower. Not sure how old of a dress it is, but it reminds me of the ones I see myself in baby pictures, that my mom put me in.

Faith is two months old now!
