As I had said in an earlier post, we brought a few things back with us from Ind. some were stored away, and then I've got a few new things, and some of it has been somewhere else here in my house

This is the piano my sis-in-law grew up playing, she had got an exceptional deal on a baby grand so she asked if we wanted this one. Of course we did, it plays real nice!

the new thing in this pic is the garland on the window, I wanted to leave the lace sheers up, but I didn't want any heavy drapes, I've had nothing on them for about a year, and I found these in the Fall decor at Hobby Lobby, those colors match my stuff year around!

this is a new arrangement since I moved the cabinet that was here to somewhere else in the house.

notice, this is front of a door, our bedroom has three doors plus a bathroom door and a closet door, we had two of the tree open, which made our room a through room, I'd had enough! I couldn't keep it clean of clutter walking through and I was tired of having to make sure all the doors were shut and locked everytime I was changing!  So although it is a little inconventient now, and a little less light, I really like it! Dave does too!   The door on the left goes into bedroom where the little girls sleep, so we open it up at night, in case they need something.

book, I'm fixin to read

I brought these back from Ind. they had been in storage, one is mine, the other Dave's, I display them in our room.

his was from his Sunday School teacher, mine from my Mom and Dad.

This DD#2 found in her stuff, she had wrote it about 4 years ago, It was so sweet, I have decided to frame it!

The SCHOOL room in action!  I started to clear it all off before the pic but decided, this is REALLY what it looks like when we're doing school!  My table , my friend gave me, I painted the read and green chairs and the read and green dresser in the back, I got at a yard sale and painted it. I LOVE tieing things together by painting!

heres our black board with a white board on it ! LOL. The black board DH painted for me last year, it works but I found that it is so rough that I don't use it that much for teaching, but I love the look of it and as you can see the kids love to write on it, so I decided to leave it but attach a white board for teaching purposes!     Some of our new posters are above the board. There's a Hint of Fall in the air!  It's the stranges thing, the last few mornings I've woke up and it feels like Fall! I'ts not the temps here either, cause its still in the 90's!  Anyway Fall is one of my favorite times of year, so I'm going to dwell on it just a bit!

 It all started Sun. nite after we came home from church, I all the sudden started feeling dizzy again (it happens every so often with me) so when I went to bed, the room was spinning and I couldn't sleep! I got up and took a dramamine, then an hour or so later took another one and I finially went to sleep after 3:30 a.m. 

Monday was our first day of school, but I thought I'd never get up, and didn't until about 10:00.   Thankfully the older girls were up and started on thier day! (So proud of them for that!)   I did manage to start with our bible story for devotions, and started the little girls on thier school, Hannah Grace 2nd, and Hope pre-school.

Hope DD#4 told me she liked school, she liked her markers and her school books!

DD#2 has fixed up her school desk in her closet, where she can very privately work!

I didn't get DD#3's pic today doing school, but I'll put one on later.

Anyway about 3:00 I decided to take a power nap, only problem was it turned into about a 3 hour one! Now my sleep schedule is all messed up, but I think I've finally got over the medicine head and the dizziness!

Sunday we went out and took some pics of Leah DD#1 in her new outfit, also kinda considered to be her school pic or 15 yr old pic.

So maybe you can tell us which one would be a good 8x10 for the grandma's

I haven't blogged in so long that I've been about to bust, so I'm sorry if this is a bit long!

Can't finish this without telling about date night last Friday...

this was the quaint little place we went to, it's actually in our town! Friday eve is the only eve they're open, the rest of the times its just lunch.

Anyway, it can't get any better than that, it's close to home, very neat atmosphere, and affordable and great food!

Outside my Window....water dripping from the porch, the windows are fogged up, so I can guess that's it's pretty warm outside!

Beside my Bed....a violin! No it's not mine, Grandma got it for Hannah Grace to learn to play, we;ve been talking about it for a couple of years...and her Grandma found one in the paper for sale...so we're now searching for a good teacher!

In the School-room...I got my yardsale dresser painted and the drawers are full of school stuff, Dave got our new printer/scanner put in last night (our old one didn't work). Can't wait to play with it! Oh yeah I also have an electric pencil sharpener for the first time! It's REALLY fun!  Basically we're ready to re-start school but we have a few more projects to complete, before I dive in again!

In theKitchen.... nothing exciting, probably a frozen Sam's dinner or leftover chicken and noodles tonite

Around the house...it's about to get me down, there is stuff everywhere! Let me explain...Since we've been back from our trip, we've been rearanging , we aquired some things  from Ind. and from a dear friend of Leah's for her room. Anyway to put one new thing in it means to clean out another! So you get the picture

What I'm wearing...my comfy gown, soon to be changed!

I am Thankful...for my new (to me) year 2000 Oldsmobil mini-VAN! We bought it for an exceptional price in Indiana! God is so GOOD to meet our needs! If you'd like hear the story behind it, message me!

I am praying for....family in Ind., and for Myself, just one of those times that I'm praying Lord please help me

Weight update....not much going on here, I'm stuck it seems and can't seem to get too motivated again, so I'm accepting any and all encouraging comments at this time!

I am plainningn...to go check out the 4-H meeting this afternoon and get the girls signed up!

Something new...two new kittys! Aerial, amd Ameila..they are so sweet! I'll never be able to find a toy that would entertain Hope more than them!

My DH's southern Gospel group is going to be at New Salem Babtist Church in SODDY DAISY TN. on SAT, SEPT 11th, and at Pleasant Grove Babtist on SUN SEPT 12th.   I've already talked with one xanga friend about meeting there and would love to meet some more xanga friends!  Let me know if you think you might be able to come!!!!

I'm feeling better the last few days, we got alot done on our personal stuff clean out of the old house. We sorted what to trash, what to yard sale, and what was sentimental to keep. Some of it was fun, because oh the memories that will come up when we see that certain something! I found all the girls old school papers, and I'm so glad I kept them! Several of them made us smile and laugh!  I know eventually I need to sort thru them also and just keep out the real special ones.

Yes I'm glad to be here in Ind. where we're surrounded by family and old friends, but what I didn't mention before is that not only are we doing prison ministry stuff.. we are cleaning out "the old house" which is where we've been storing all our extra stuff for all of our married life ! My M-I-L is selling the house, it has been thought about and thought about for the last 7 years and it does need to be done, but it is not easy doing this clean out! I have alot of stuff to yard sale of take off to the thrift store, but we also have alot of stuff some sentimental, some furniture that needs to find a place or go home with us.  I'm currently suffering from pms which is never a good time for big projects! TODAY was emotional for me, but I kept praying! So I'm asking you to help me pray to complete this task with ease. Maybe I can explain more later, I almost feel resentful about the house having to be sold.  Other than that its nice to be here among friends and family, we had good church services yesterday.
