  • I've been keeping silent in the blogging world, I have just felt too bad to care about much of anything! I'm hoping to be on the mend soon, trying to get a better attitude about being sick!  I do have a praise report... today didn't start well but finished well, DH unexpectedly got to come home early (as this is his LONG day) and he took me out for a date, I wasn't sure if I felt like it but I tried hard! We ate out and then went to the store and picked up one more B-day pressent for DD Hope who is turning four on Sunday!  It just felt good to be out in the cool nite air. I hadn't been out of the house since Sun. morning for a short time.  That's all, my bed is calling, I haven't stayed up this late in a while!           ~Jill~

  • Asking for Prayer~

I have not felt like blogging lately, the last two weeks have been eventful even thought we took this week off of school to rest. I really could use some prayer for the morning sickness. It somedays lasts about all day. Like I feel bad enough to not feel like doing anything, but just good enough for that to bother me.  We've got to get back to the books this week, so I sincerely ask for your prayers to feel better      ~JILL~

  • DD#1 Blogging for mom! Read on!

Hello this is DD#1 I am not sure how the "Dear Daughter" thing got started but I feel like a number. It sounds like the military or prison LOL. I am blogging for Mom because I wanted to. No not really it's  because she hasn't felt like blogging lately, when she does feel good she wants to do something else. Anyways now I'm done with the rambling here is an update!

Today Mom signed up for this baby thing on parents.com and another one but I am not sure of the website. She liked the other one better. She had to use my e-mail lol. So I will be getting all these baby e-mails but it's cool. We saw what the baby looked like at 7 weeks..I thought it looked like shrimp lol. By seven weeks the baby has grown to the size of a blueberry or in a more sophisticated term half an inch! (Such a strappin boy! )  It's organs are developing, I think the heart may be beating, she has a tail like thing that will get smaller if I understood that right, she has cells developing, a few more random things and the one that I think is really cool It said that her eye lids are already there and her eyes are getting color already. She is seven weeks old and she is that developed..Amazing! I like the name Elizabeth Faith and I jokingly call the baby "Jackson" and Mom gets upset with me lol! My mom is like a basset hound! She can smell EVERYTHING and then some because every smell here and all across the country makes her sick..No JOKE! We took a "take some time off and catch your breath" week off. Except I still have Miss J classes. It's been nice weather here lately and we even had to turn the heat on yesterday! I love the coziness. I have been forcing everyone to listen to Christmas music since August and it is finally feeling like the right season for it even though it's October! My favorite Christmas C.D. is by Bro. Alan..you may know him as Alan Jackson. Last night Rachel and I stayed up late and done our own thing and then about 1:00 A.M. we decided to play a game. Anyways Hannah slept in my bed so I slept in Rachel's room and had to share a twin bed with her. It brought back memories especialy the smell of the heater! Some of the funniest smells bring back memories. Luckily she will have a full bed by tomorrow! Mom said to tell y'all she finally got her sewing machine out, and was able to start "mending" (that word sounds so old-fashioned in my opinion so she fixed) things. Welp that's all folks Have a FANTASTIC Thursday! Love Leah.

The baby that started it all! Me!

I am smiling here on the day I was born! I have always been a very smiley talkitive child! My mouth was open since day one..Litterally!

I would love it if y'all added me! fbi_girl95

  • HUNGRY PREGNANT MONSTER

Thats what I feel like these last few days!  I feel like there's a hungry monster in me demanding food every few hours instead of a baby!

I read that keeping snacks in close reach (like beside the bed) and eatng in bed before you get up moving around, is supposed to help prevent the nausea, which is caused alot by your stomache acid when your stomache is empty.

So I did, I had peanutbutter crackers by the bed when the 3:00 am feeding came, and sweet DH got up and got me some Ginger-Ale. I decided then to get up and get a bath since I felt too bad to earlier, then went back into a peaceful sleeep until about 7:00 am when DH was getting ready to leave. He once again came thru for me and make me a Pbj so I didn't have to get out of bed before eating.     So I  PRAY that today will be better!

DH was off yesterday and we had some running to do... we turned in the girl's 4H projects, we had some insurance stuff to check on for the pregnancy, and had a whole bunch of other stuff on the list to do when we got home, but guess what I was couch bound  So he studied for his next sermons instead, make hamburgers on the grill for supper, and I'm not sure what else. I am frustrated because we've been waiting for his time off to get some things done here around the house, then I couldn't!

Then there are the SMELLS! I have an ultra sensitive nose right now! It's hard to go anywhere (even in my own house) without my nose getting awful affended!  DH had brought home a differernt brand of dryer sheets, which I had to set outside..then yesterday when I needed to go sit on the porch to get away from the smell of the floor cleaner while DD was mopping....there was the dryer sheets I'd set out! So because of not bearing to have that smell in the van (even long enough to take back to the store) I sent DD#3 to give it to the neighbors!    Hope they appriciated it! LOL

I did get one BIG project "started" on Thursday eve. DD#1 helped me clean out DD#4's closet. We did that and the Jean's shelf, and she did her own closet clean out too. So now we just have 3 people's left to do, and DH's!

Earlier that same evening, I took my friend Twila out for supper for her B-day at one of the local restuarants.  We only stayed 2 hours! So good it was to talk! We shared carrot cake for dessert.

I am soooo thankful for my family, I just don't know how I would make it through all this without them being so helpful,  I feel bad for not being able to do my part around here, hopefully it won't last long.

Well, thats about all of my Saturday Ramble! Have a good one!    ~Jill~

We have news!!!!!    We have started on a new journey....one we've been on before, but still new!

We happily announce we are expecting BABY # 5!!!!!

We've known for about two weeks, I have been about to bust to blog, (when I haven't been too sick to care)!!!

We were going to wait a while to tell everyone, but with me having morning sickness, its awful hard to hide!!!

So between the end of last week and first of this one, we've told our girls, our parents, nieces and nephews, and close friends, and of course now xanga and facebook!

I'm about 6 weeks along, having morning, afternoon, and evening sickness at times, HUNGRY like I can't believe, and looking just a hint rounder in the middle (bloating).

I'm happy, scared, excited , concerned about my age, and finances, space in our home... trying to TRUST!

I'm thankful the Lord is giving us the opportunity once again to be parents, I love babies, I love to nurse, I love to cuddle and smell a fresh clean baby!

Although it hasn't been as easy ride, I am living my dream, I always wanted to be a mom and homemaker just like my mom was for me. I know alot of people cannot understand how and why a woman would want past one or two children even...but the bible does say children are a blessing, yes a challenge also, but a blessing!

        ~Blessings to you~         Have a great WEDNESDAY!      ~Jill~

  • So now that we've had the coolest day we've had in months, I'm ready to decorate for fall! My girls have been begging me and I kept saying Oct.1st!  Now I'm ready...but I have to persuade DH to dig out the tote from our storage! That shouldn't be too hard...He LOVES me! LOL   I also want something homemade with pumpkin and some apple cider and a good smelling candle to go with it!

Older girls went out with thier friends tonite at the Mex. restuarant, DH is at a ministry meeting, it's just me and the little girls for a little while.    Had a better day today after my weekend of not feeling well. DH was off today, and we had to run some errands in town that took most of the day, but it feels good to get some things done! We have such a long list right now!

    Happy Fall Y'all!!!!

  • Olive Garden Salad Recipe~

    ·       Mix all ingredients in a blender until well mixed.

    ·       If this is a little to tangy your own personal tastes add a little extra sugar

    ·       Use on Olive Garden Salad Mix

This is really delicious, my family loved it, and I made it twice in one week!  The only thing I didn't have to put in it was romano cheese, so I just added more parmesan cheese.
