Any of you ever used this before?

My Dr. reccomended it to me with my first pregnancy, I was glad to find it again!

It helps with the itchy belly and supposed to help stretch marks!

My little Valentine has to go to the DENTIST today for the first time   We've waited too long, but we "knew" it was coming, she has two cavities and they finially started hurting last night. The dentist had a cancelation today, and Daddy was able to come home and take her.  She was none too thrilled to go

So big sissy wanted to go along to comfort her! 

We had the afternoon planned for a few games as our own Homeschool Valentine Party, but we've postponed till tomorrow afternoon

Potato & Leek Soup

Recipe on the back of the Knorr package

I know you can't see that too well, but just showing you what the package looks like so you find it in the grocery store    Basic ingredients are...5 or 6 lg potatos, chicken broth, dry white wine, heavy cream, or half& half or milk, and the Knorr mix.  I don't do the food processer on the potatos like it says, I just cut them up to small cubes.

I also add After poured into the bowls, shredded cheddar, real bacon bits, and sour cream!  That's it! It's FAST and EASY and TASTY!!!   Let me know if you try it!!!!

the choc helped keep me awake! Not that is was boring at all, I love it, I'm just that way when I sit down to read, unfortunately it makes us have short reading sessions!

One of my favorite things right now..... a COKE ZERO thats been in the freezer, and ICE, I'm loving Ice!!!

Something I'm thankful for...to be living in FL. right now cause the rest of the US is getting too much bad weather!!!

I am praying for...health insur for the kids, for needs I know of from facebook, lots of other stuff as it comes to mind

I am thinking... it will be nice when spring gets here!!!

Something New...

My new make-up mirror we got from Lowes a few weeks ago, and.... my blow dryer attached to the wall,  Since we have a very small bathroom, these two things are major conveniences for me!!!! Got the blow dryer at my fav store, The Ministy thrift store!!!

Went to bed too late after having a fun evening of company over for supper! Got up too early on account of the baby (in belly) being Hungry!   So, I've been up 2 1/2 hrs, started laundry, got dressed, unloaded dishwasher, and have started breakfast for girls (who are still asleep) because they were up late too!  I'm starting to feel sleepy now, and my DAY with them hasn't even started!!!

Now this is LOVE.....I gave DH my already cold alnight in the fridge bottle of Coke Zero, when he was leaving for work this morning!!! LOL  There are always ups and downs in any marriage, but lately I'm happy to report its up!  Unfortunately, I think due to the last little bit of bad news of a friend's divorce, it has kind of kicked us in gear a bit, made us not take each other for granted but to cherish each other and our time together.

Our little family God has blessed us with!  This pic taken a week and four days after my surgery, so I'm not looking the greatest here!!!

Any hooo....Valentines Day is coming (one of my most fav holidays!) and we've started to decorate a little....

Window clings are great and in expensive to decorate with, the girls putting them up, we have more of these all over the house!

a dollar tree special!!!  Most of them are!  I have a few more to put up, but this is the most of it.  Valentines have been bought, just need to be filled out and some mailed, and although I have part of DH's I'm hoping to get to the Mall for one more thing....hope he doesn't see this!!!

Someone I'm MISSING, who is having a great time with her Grandma and Mamaw and Papaw, but it's high time she comes home....

Miss you Leah!!!   It's been a good experience for her, we planned her schoolwork for while she's there which she's keeping up with nicely since she has no distractions!  Basically at Grandma's house, all she has to do is eat, sleep, and do school!  She did go with Grandma to volunteer at the Give and Save thrift store last week. Proud of her for that! I think she's going to Mamaw's this week to spend time with them, and maybe play in the snow with Papaw, if they get the snow predicted!

For the rest of my day.....lots of caffein, and school, and I've started working on cleaning up the toy area in the school room. Since Christmas, (toys) I still haven't got it like it needs to be...a home for everything and everything has a home!!!!  Leftovers for supper tonite!Yeah!

Here we are at 23 weeks!  An active, hungry all the time baby is in there!  

Went back to the Surgeon yesterday for a follow-up appt.  I asked him about lifting now, and he said and he kind of laughed..."well it's been over a month now, you can do whatever it's normal for a 23 week pregnant person can do!"  He had wanted to why I had waited so long to come in after surgery! Well I was in Indiana with family and recooperating for 3 weeks...then...   Anyway I guess I'm doing fine now!   I can go back to blaming the all my tiredness and aches on the pregnancy again! LOL

Speaking of motherhood, I've not had a good mommy day today.... It started out good, going to story hour at the library, then lunch to follow at home, but we've had a busy week and I am getting frustrated at the messes that we can't seem to get to fast enough, and the children who have had a hard time following directions!  Lord help me to figure out better ways to teach without tears! Don't like these kind of times!

I'm trying to be optomistic here!  It is most definitely a Monday!  

On my agenda today....attack my bedroom! I've had those hot spot piles for months and they grew when I came home from the hospital! I've going to make an attempt today! So PLEASE ask me how it went, because I'm posting it for the very reason that I need to be accountable for it!  

Other than that...attack the laundry, attack the kitchen, attack the school room! Sounds like I will be having a house blessing today!

Enough about Monday.... My weekend was great but it went so fast that I think I will re-live it her for a few minutes for nothing else maybe than my own personal comfort, before I attack all these Monday things!

Friday was my OB DR. appt. I found out I've only gained 7 pounds thus far with the preganancy, for which I'm happy! At my current size I do not need to gain!  Baby is measuring fine, I got a prescription for sleeping and for this crazy rash I've had on my neck since the start of the pregnancy, due to hormones.   Next thing I have to do before next appt. is get that glucose screening thing done at the lab...painless, but not fun! So I'm 23 weeks along now and looking very pregnant! At this point, I feel like my stomach is so big, but overall I'm not dis-satisfied with how I look YET! I'm enjoying some of my cute maternity tops, and an excuse to wear the most comfortable elastic waist stretchy pants or leggings!

We enjoyed a great lunch that day here...where we had got a gift card for Christmas!

After that we went to Hobby Lobby where I bought the little girls some of those big flowers to wear in their hair, and a few Valentine decorations. It was Daddy's idea to go there to look at rocket and air plane craft/hobbies...I don't think he planned on us buying girl stuff there! He did get him and Hannah Grace an airplane to put together to fly outside though!

Then on Saturday.... Rach has been wanting me to take "her" alone shopping and she had Christmas money and we both had gift cards, so off we went, leaving Daddy to babysit!  I drove to Tallahassee for the first time since we've lived here! Only because we really wanted to go to the big Mall! I'll have to really need something again before I will do that again! Too busy for my comfort! But with LOLA's (gps) help, we made it there and back!

We shopped a few other Mall stores but got our best deals on the way out at Pennys on thier 80% off racks! We got some clothes for .97 and 1.97!!!!

I found this one and I want it...just don't want the price! We'll have to shop around!

We had a great MOM- Daughter day!

Now to Sunday....we've been having Revival type services at our church lately! Both services yesterday were great and last nite's message was a challenge to get be students of the Word! Lord help ME!  Our youth is showing a hunger for more of God and we're all excited about that!!!
