Good Tuesday Morning! Haven't blogged much lately as we've had company, then yesterday trying to get back into routine, not to mention (catch up on rest!)
Today's Hubby;s day off, so I'm hoping for a walk with him on the bike trail (it's so beautiful!), also hoping for a bike ride with Leah today, yesterday it was with Rachel, and oh yes Hannah Grace is begging for her turn! I may be a skinny mama after all if I can get all these bike rides and walks in! This afternoon is Weight Watchers meeting, hopefully I've lost another pound or two!
Funny time of year to do it but.. we ordered some more school work for the girls, so I'm waiting on it to come hopefully Friday. I'm ready for break along with the girls, but we need to do a little more written work yet. I'm looking forward to this summer to do some sewing and do some Pic albums.
Homeschool convention in Orlando is coming up the end of May. This year I'm taking the older two girls, and Leah may be sighned up for the Teen program. I'm really excited about the mother-daughter time we will have and also excited for them to see how BIG homeschooling really is! The convention can be quite overwhelming!
Last night, Leah and I watched that movie AMISH GRACE, really sad! Have any of you seen it? Just wondering what your thoughts are on how well real acting the Amish were? It's hard for us to decide because we are friends with some Amish. We watched it on the laptop, as we decided to save some money and some TIME and cancelled regular TV for now. I just find that we're alot more productive without it, and it's nice weather right now, Also I'm hoping some children around here will pick up on some reading! (and myself!).
Well I guess I've really rambled on this morning, maybe the next blog I'll keep it more on one or two thoughts!
~Jill~

Homeschool conventions can be VERY OVERWHELMING!
I remember my first one! Great idea to take the gals. Help in pinpointing thier likes and dislikes. I wont never have to attend one again. Kinda makes me sad, only to a point!!!!!
I love the homeschooling convention! lol, my friends refer to it as THE social event of the homeschooler's year.
Your girls are absolutely gorgeous!
Love that pic of the little girls!!
I've never been to a homeschool conference. Sometimes they have great speakers lined up for those.
I watched Amish Grace and loved it. I was just glad that Lifetime had such a decent movie playing. I don't know how truthful the movie was in it's portrail (sp?)
@betheelou - thanks for the compliment on the pic, I don't do it that often, but I love playing with the camera on the colors like that!
@herdaddysgirl - thank you I think so too!
