Randomness (adopted title from #Victoriantomboy )
It's wet dreary Monday here, but I don't mind, because it is a stay at home day!
I'm going to start packing one person or thing a day this week for our trip that we will leave for next monday night! Baby's bag is first, HG's 2nd, HD's 3rd, then stuff, then mine.
I NEED to re-organize the girls' school work and school room!
We went to Barns-n-Noble over the weekend as a late Valentine's Day treat for our family, Everyone got a book, except Daddy who read one while we were there! LOL
I also read some while we were there, a little on sleep training for babies and little children, and some on baby signing, which I bought a book that has flash cards with it! I also bought a sewing book, that EXPLAINS how to read patterns! I was so excited, because thats my problem, I can sew fine, but when I look at a pattern, I'm usually like "WHAT the WORLD are they talking about?!
I think Baby Girl will walk before she crawls
she turned nine months this past friday
DD#1 started her first J O B a few weeks ago, she's enjoying it, and I am so proud of her!
Her first day~

and thisthe red dress I just used heat bond paper to some valentine material and then added puffy paint around it, I made it from an adult size shirt that I cut down and re-set the sleeves.neither project is perfect, but I had fun making them and learned alot, and my little girls loved wearing them! (AND they were supper cheap to make! I only had a few dollars in each one!)I am creating NOW....Once again SUPER cheap! made from old jeans and material i had and recieving blanketsOne of my latest thrift store findsIts above my bed nowI just took those dark curtains down, which I think looks better, I had them on there for the sole purpose of keeping the light out at night, but now i am at a loss to what would look good and keep the light out. any ideas????Something Newmy bed ruffle, My M-I-L made for me!!! I'm planning on making some pillows for the bed with the leftover material, there isn't enough for curtainsA kind of messy bunWe did a photo shoot this past Friday on these three girls, I posted them all on my facebook page if you want to friend me and look at them there. ~Jill Smith~
The girls were getting ready to go to a B-day Party and a Valenteen party here
Sorry its not turned right, I tried 3 times and it won't go this time!
As for today....I've got laundry of course, and I want to focus on de-cluttering the little girls room, I'm starting a nightly routine of reading to them in thier bed, and I want to be able to walk thru it!
I'd also "like" to work on my quilt. but we'll see. I'd like to go in ever room and pick up all the things thats "bugging" me! I'd like to have that done outside as well! ONE day at a time JILL!
Something I'm Happy about!!! I've got my groceries bought for the week and a menu made! Another something... DH might get off early tomorrow, this is his long day, so I will be missing Him
Thats all for now, it's time to feed hungry bellies

Photo shoot with your girls is great. Not hard with such beautiful daughters
Love your projects. I taught Matty some sign when he was a baby and now I have started with Neko. She is 15 months and not talking much at all but she does sign. I found that it worked much better with both kiddos when I put the Baby Einstein 1st signs video on repeat and just went about our day. It seemed to sink in by osmosis
She signs all the time now. She also never crawled, she started walking on her own at 9 months.
@oldfatgramma - wow! Thanks for telling me that! That eases my mind about the walking, (not that I'm ready for her to get in to everything STAGE) but i've just never had one to not crawl or walk by this age! I will have to look for that baby video you were talking about!
