Good Friday morning to you!
The last 3 weeks have been filled with sickness around here
, but thankfully it has been 5 days with no one ill! What a better week it has been!
I was the last one along with DD#2 to get sick, so I am behind on my 21 days to establish my new habbit! I have restarted this week with only one day of falling off the wagon!
We had a field trip kind of day yesterday
the girls' little friend (who's also homeschooled) spent the night, and we got up and went to the Library for story hour and craft. Then to the PARK!
baby girl enjoyed her swing!
It felt so good to get out in the fresh air!
there were lots of giggles....
and then not so much, when I realized how the gray in my hair shines so in the sunlight!
I've been wearing bangs lately while I wait for the new hair to come in there in the front, I had lost it a few months back (something that happens with every pregnancy of mine)
It doesn't show up so bad in the house! LOL
Hannah and Alana are wearing the same dresses in different colors, don't you love that kind of little girls stuff?! Does it bring back memories?
baby girl turned 8 months, still no crawling, just jumping and kicking her legs! Who needs to crawl when you have 4 sisters who will get anything you want for you?! SPOILED!!!
Back to thinking about this unusual January....I haven't even got to play with my new Christmas toy yet...
Well maybeeee.... this weekend I will try it out, I took step one, got it out of the box, and step two, looked over the book!
WE have a Birthday party this Sat at the Bowling alley for our 9 year old, who turned 9 on Dec 26th, and has had to have her party put off due to SICKNESS!
But she is now even more excited!
Now for my latest and greatest product I've tried.... I decided that due to the fact that I have two teenage girls and myself that needs to have it done about every week and a half, that I should just invest in one of these instead of making appts. all the time and spending so much money! So I bought this....
You can't see it so well, but its a wax warmer kit, for eyebrows and upper lip and whatever else, but trust me it will be used on my face ONLY!!! LOL
It should pay for itself in about 2 months, and I got it on SALE at Sallys! As for today... I've got to get my hair dried, and curled, it is date nite with DH and the little girls! The teens have a get to gether with some church friends. We have school, a little laundry, a little cleaning and whatever else our hands find to do to keep us busy, Meals ect.Hope you have a wonderful weekend!Love ya's ~Jill~

just look at those CHEEKS!!!!!!
My hair is getting some gray now, asked hubby last night if I should start coloring it, and of course he thinks I'm crazy. But I am so undecided about that. Having the gray really wont bother me, but I do know it'll make me look older than I have to, ya know? Fixing to be 44, so how much younger can it REALLY make me look!!!! LOLOLOL
OK, the wax machine. Its wonderful to do your own eyes. Just dont get wax on your eyelashes like I did and have to pull them out!!! OUCH!! Of course, having the 3 of you there, it'll be SO MUCH EASIER!!! Use a washcloth or something to cover your eye lid. But......think twice about doing your upper lip. Every single woman I know who has done her upper lip, wrinkle very early in that area. I use a cream remover, Sally Hansen, that works wonders. Have used it for years. You apply, let it sit, wipe off, your done.
I think you made a great purchase....having all girls, you can really get your moneys worth out of that!! You may want to consider that for many other things! ( female stuff )
Your older daughters look weird.
Looks like a fun day yesterday at the park. I love the mild weather we are having here. I am able to take baby girl outside most days at least for a while. She loves being outside. That is one of the few words she says loud and clear. Great purchase, especially with all girls
Have a great date night and a good party time tomorrow at the bowling alley!
@victoriantomboy - I of course haven't seen you in person for a while, so I don't notice that you are going gray that much, but I will say, that when I highlighted my hair I really loved it! It was just a little change, kind of like doing your eyebrows or something... wish I didn't know about the upper lip and the wrinkles now!!!! Mine gets so dark that it has to be done, but I never had any luck with the cream. Well maybe if I get wrinkles there, I can just dye my hair to look younger! LOL just kidding! @oldfatgramma - yes it has been an especially MILD winter! Of all things, I even bought new long sleved shirts for the little girls, and they have used them very little! You just never know with Florida winters, the last two were pretty cold.
@southern_bygrace - very wierd!
Let me know how that wax kit works. I may get one!
@floridayankees - well, when we met, my hair wasn't graying....yet!! lol and the cream on the upper lip...did you use remover or bleach?
And highlighting, that's one thing Jimmy has said NOT to do...or as he calls it.....frosting my hair. He said it makes him think of his Aunts...the ones he doesn't care for!!! LOL
