  • Need some advice here!!!!

Ok, so I'm cleaning out my part of the closet too. pretty much most of my regular clothes do not fit now, so I'm trying to decide whether to put all those clothes in totes and just have my maternity clothes hanging, (which would be nice for now) but...will it end up being a great big job I won't have time to do (put them back) after the baby is born the end of May????clothes clip art  What do you think?

  • Hmmm, that's a tough one!!  If it were me I would put the maternity clothes in the bin. To me it would be easier for after the baby

  • How long do you usually wear the maternity clothes after the baby comes?  If you have the energy now, I'd just leave the maternity stuff out and pack the rest.  By the time you have the energy in summer, you'll be able to wear a few summer things and then it will be time for the winter gear that's been packed away.

  • Please get rid of some of them clothes! or at least put them up..it makes putting laundry away hard when you have them all out.

  • My mom has always packed her regular clothes away until the baby was about six months old. She liked the loose, comfortableness of the maternity clothes during recovery and adjusting to having another baby around, plus she didn't ever really stress about pregnancy weight because there was no pressure to fit into her old clothes until she had lost most of it. (I'm just now figuring out why she did everything the way she did it, lol)

  • Did you decide what you are doing yet? I had some hanging in my closet and most in a laundry basket...easy peazy to put away. :)

Hope that you are feeling well!

  • @MotherHen1966 - @betheelou - @thechaplainsdaughter - @herdaddysgirl - @down_onthefarm - Thanks for all the good advice! I haven't got to my part of the closet yet, but I had forgot about those couple of months after baby that I might not yet be back in those regular clothes yet. So I started packing away first the winter ones because I won't be needing jeans here in Fl. till about this time next year!  I'm leaving out enough shorts, capris and t-shirts that I will need in June, but they are going to somehow be separated from my maternity clothes.
