Goat Day 2010!!!!
Hope loved feeding the baby goats!
Miss Lawana telling about Hog Butchering in days gone by
Dave helped make the cracklins all day
Hannah Grace teaching kids how to make an old time toy called a twirly bird, made from a corn cobb
Leah and Rachel selling cracklins
me and church friend Michael
what we might have looked like yesteryear!
Me and Rachie
So now you know what Goat Day is...hope you enjoyed it! I've had material for about a year now that I was going to make my pioneer outfit out of, but obviously didn't get it done. We are all needing new outfits for it, so hopefully I'll get more serious about it this year. We all had such a fun time at it. ~Jill~

Looks like a great time! My town had a "Days of Yesteryear" thing this weekend, too. No one dressed up, though. It would have been fun if they did!
@herdaddysgirl - it is fun, only thing that would make it funner is if we really got into character instead of just telling about it, Theres a pioneer villiage in Indiana like that called Connor's Prarie. It really makes you feel strange to hear them talk, even when they talk to visitors, they don't get out of character. It really is as if you stepped back into time.
Awww, Hope looks adorable! Isn't it tempting to have her dressed like that all the time? You look mighty good on here! It's fun to see the older DDs, too!!!
Aww..that looks like a blast. Your whole family looked great. I loved Hope's outfit.
