Feeling some better....
This has been a good last couple a days
! Praise the Lord, I really needed a good couple of days! I had a Dr's appt on Wed. to get an ultrasound to check about a possible cyst. Thankfully it wasn't one, but I'm still having a funny pain that we don't know what it is. I almost didn't go there that day because I "knew" it wasn't a cyst, but I felt like I needed to talk to my Dr. again. As I sat there waiting on him to come in, I prayed for God to please give Him wisdom to be able to help me, and to help me be able to explain whats going on.So he comes in , tells me the utrasound was clear, and did I have any questions, so thats when I ask, when is this med. I'm on (for postpardom depression) going to start working? He said it should at about 3 weeks which is where I was at with it, and I started to tear up.
THAT wasn't supposed to happen! Here I am a grown woman, mother of five! So he talked to me a little bit about my serotonin being LOW and that it wasn't my faught, and all that, He increased my med. and I'm supposed to go back this coming week for a re-check. The good news is I AM thinking I'm feeling better. I kind of feel like an itiot that I broke down, but maybe thats what it took to have the Dr to see I really needed some help. I'm trying not to think about it too much! LOL I'm also supposed to get my thyroid checked again to see if my med dose is working.One of the things he said I needed to do was "to do one thing a day that "I" wanted to do, such as take a walk by myself (which would also help my blood pressure). So I haven't took any walks yet, but I've baked cookies with the little girls, I've painted, and Now I'm blogging! This weekend was great, guess what I did, with the help of DD Leah (who just went to swim lessons) I jumped off in the deep end of the pool!!! A major accomplishment for me! A conquered fear of mine!
