Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord! and Hope's 4th Birthday!!!
PTL I'm feeling some better! Still a little queesy tummy, but much better, and on foot again! Had a wonderful weekend where I was able to attend and help at Goat Day in the Pioneer villiage, and then went to church on Sunday, out to dinner and celebrated Hope's B-day that afternoon!
I had fretted all last week about what to do for her B-day, I had thought I wanted to have a little friends party for her, but wasn't sure I'd even be up for the simplest little party with the way I was feeling. I finially got a peace about it and decided we'd just see how it goes and go with it. At four yrs. she doesn't have a lot of expectations anyhow! Sometimes us silly parents make a bigger deal of things...know what I mean???
So we had the sweetest little celebration at home with just our little family, Hope seemed to enjoy it alot! AND never once said a word about a party! I was just so thankful that it worked out like it did, its hard for me to let go and do things different than what I have planned.
this is the cutest dishes set I've ever seen, we got it at Target. Her mamaw sent her in the mail, the red pots and pans to go with it.
my teenagers think they want to play too!
now she can iron like mom....Not!!!
and not pictured was a package she recieved today from her aunt, that was another mermaid doll, dressed in a princess dress, and two cards from friends.
Can't believe she's years old, but she's cuter than ever, and so much fun! ~Jill~

Aww...Little Miss Hope is a doll. Looks like she had a GREAT birthday. Your right, we make more of things than we have to. I think the kids are much easier pleased than us parents.
So glad you are feeling better. Looking forward to the Goat Day post.
